Edwardian Diamond and Sapphire Ring
The Helen ring is a gorgeous late Edwardian piece circa 1915! The 18kt white gold navette-style ring centers a bezel set old European cut diamond weighing approximately 0.30 carats of H-I color, VS2 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by open metalwork and 8 spokes set with a total of 14 single cut diamonds that total 0.16 carats. The spokes lead to an oval border of 8 blue sapphires. Finished off with floral-like accents on each side that contain two single cut diamonds. The ring is size 7.5 and can be resized.
Why We Love It
This ring is an amazing piece of history! The OEC in the center has a gorgeous, chunky sparkle to it and is highlighted by the empty space around it! The spokes provide a bold look and the pop of color from the sapphires is always appreciated! This piece has a very low profile, so while it takes up space on the finger, it is practical for everyday wear!
